Amazon is offering refunds on all hover boards sold on their website. This is due to the many fires breaking out from the product overheating. As of now, the fires are being investigated to see if they can't solve the problem and recall the hover boards. The company is also investigating the injuries from these boards due to the seriousness of them. The CPSC has investigated 39 cases of the fires, multiple while charging. This resulted into the suspicion that the lithium ion battery gets too hot. Fond the link to this article here.

Blog Post Assessment

     My favorite restaurant is Giovanni Rana in New York City. You can find the link to their homepage here. It is located on 75 9th Ave in the city. Rana is in the Chelsea Market, and has direct access to the High Line.

Giovanni Rana is an authentic Italian restaurant. Making fresh pasta everyday, they're known as one of the best Italian restaurants in NYC. See how the critics rave here. I enjoy this restaurant because I love Italian food, and they make the best ravioli and pasta I've ever had. Some of my favorite dishes there include tagliatelle alla bolognese and the spinach and ricotta ravioli. They're also well known for their salads and freshly made garlic bread. Some of the greatest benefits of eating at Giovanni Rana is all of the other products and services they offer. Some of these services include catering, freshly made pasta that can be purchased at the restaurant or at your local grocery store. As well as their cooking class, where one can sign up to learn how to make their famous pastas, ravioli, and dessert ravioli.

The name of the restaurant is actually named after the owner of the eatery, Giovanni Rana. Rana descends from Verona, Italy. He was well known for his fresh pasta, and still is today, but in the United States. 

If Giovanni Rana was to ever close, I would most likely go to Maggiano's because it is a similar restaurant. I eat there occasionally because it is closer to me than Giovanni Rana. Maggiano's home page can be found here.

Good Deed Do Now 12/14

     Good deeds, or acts of kindness are often performed in order for one's own personal gain. I am here to tell you about my day in which I performed good deeds with no reward, or compensation. I began my day by doing simple little good deeds. These deeds included opening the door for people behind me. It was not until later where I did a bigger, more influential good deed.

     Later in the day I performed a greater good deed. I decided to volunteer at The Valley Hospital. I did not wear my name tag so I would remain anonymous. I wheeled people who were too weak, frail, or old to walk. I also transported patients who would not walk around. I ended the day by donating money to the Make A Wish Foundation to help pediatric cancer patients in need. Overall, thanklessly helping others was an amazing experience.
